The Townsville Saints Junior Representative Programme is NOW OPEN for registrations!

OVERVIEW

The Saints Representative Programme is for ALL players in Townsville born in or between 2006 and 2013. If you want to play representative touch football in 2024 and beyond, then you'll need to be part of this exciting programme!

As part of the programme, ALL players (we'll be entering as many teams as possible!) will play at the 2024 NQ Junior State Cup North (JSCN) in April, and then be considered for selection to attend the 2024 QLD Junior State Cup (QJSC) in July.

2024 REP EVENTS

To be able to play in these events in 2024, you'll need to be part of the Saints programme:

2024 NQ Junior State Cup North (JSCN)
Townsville, April 2024

2024 QLD Junior State Cup (QJSC)
TBA (Southeast QLD), July 2024

PLAYER CLEARANCES (to play for another association)

Please note: As Saints is the official representative programme of Townsville Touch Football, we are unable to grant clearances (to play for another association) to TTF players who choose NOT to be part of the programme.

JSCN (April): This event is "automatic selection", so everyone in the Saints programme (regardless of skill level or team/club) will play in a Townsville Saints team at this event. In the rare circumstance where you're registered in the programme, but we cannot find you a team, we will happily grant you a clearance to play elsewhere, however we will always do our very best to make sure we have a team for everyone!

QJSC (July): We can only nominate two teams per division to the QJSC, so if you are part of the Saints programme and play at the JSCN in April, but then miss out on selection for QJSC then we'll happily give you a clearance to play for another association.

MUSTER (Nov 2023)

The first step in the Saints programme is the SAINTS JUNIOR MUSTER, where our representative coaches will be putting all players to the test through a series of skills and drills!

SAINTS JUNIOR MUSTER
Queens Park, North Ward
4pm-8pm, 18 November 2023;
and 8am-11am, 19 November 2023

All players will train from February through to April, with ALL players then playing at the 2024 NQ Junior State Cup in April. Following the JSCN, the best performing players will be selected into sides for the 2024 QLD Junior State Cup (July) tour.

ELIGIBILITY

If you're currently playing in a Townsville Touch Football / Townsville Junior Touch Football competition and were born in or between 2006 and 2013, then you've already qualified to play for Townsville as part of the Saints programme!

There's no need to find your own team or play in another competition because YOU'RE ALREADY IN!

PLUS, if you're a returning Saints player (and your uniform still fits!) then you won't even need to purchase any new gear!

REGISTRATION

If you or your child wants to be part of the 2024 Townsville Saints representative programme, you just need to do the following:

1. Visit https://saints.tsv.tf/events and complete the PLAYER registration process.
2. Attend the SELECTION MUSTER on 18 & 19 November 2023, at Queens Park.
