The campaign will begin at the 2025 Queensland State Cup in November on the Gold Coast and conclude with the 2026 NTL "The Championships" in March at Coffs Harbour.
The following age divisions are open for nomination:
- Open Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed
- Under 20 Men’s and Women’s
- Over 30, Over 40, and Over 45 Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed
- Over 50 and Over 55 Men’s and Women’s
- Over 60 and Over 65 Men’s (NTL only)
Head Coach appointments will be made by Townsville Touch Football based on a range of criteria including coaching experience, suitability for the specific team, and availability across the full campaign.
It is expected that coaches for the Open Men’s, Women’s, and Mixed teams will be appointed first, with players not selected in those squads remaining eligible for age-based teams.
Initial squads will be named shortly after coaching appointments, with training to commence soon after and final teams for State Cup to be confirmed in early October.
Teams will then resume training ahead of the 2026 NTL, with final squads to be named early in the new year.
Applications close at 11:59pm on 31 July 2025, with the first round of appointments expected the following week.
